Chloe, the founder of Shroud Cosmetics (Formerly Strobe Cosmetics) here. If you didn't already see our announcement on our social media, we re-branded back in September 2019.
Let me start this off by saying this re-brand had been a long time coming. I started Strobe when I was just 16 years old, and in the nine years since launching, I've grown and evolved and it was time for my brand to do the same.
I was beginning to feel a disconnect between myself and Strobe. I wasn't as passionate about my work as I once was. Starting Strobe in my mid-teens and now being in my mid-twenties, you can imagine a lot has changed, which is why this re-brand was so important to me.
Shroud has bridged the gap the disconnect caused, and I am happier and more inspired than ever. It seems like such a trivial thing, but sometimes all it takes is a little change to really shake things up for the good.
I hope you can appreciate this change, just as you would appreciate an artist's or musician's new style, era, or period.
Shroud Cosmetics has the same quality products, same cruelty-free and vegan promise, but with an updated look. All of our current products will roll over into the new branding once we sell out of our current “Strobe Cosmetics” packaging.
Thank you so much for supporting us! Whether you began following us this year or you've been with us since the very beginning, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm so excited about this next chapter of our epic journey and I can't wait to show you what else I have up my sleeves.
Your makeup friend, Chloe T.
